Overview
This article explains how to create a map outline for the robot using the App.
This article applies for models:
- MOVA 600/600 Kit/1000
- MOVA 600 Plus
- MOVA LiDAX Ultra 800/1000/1200/1600/2000
- MOVA LiDAX Pro 600/800
- MOVA LiDAX Ultra 1000/1600/2000/3000 AWD
Steps
Step 1. Start map creation
Open the App and tap "Start Creating Map."
The interface will automatically switch to landscape mode, and the robot will begin status checking and calibration.
Step 2. Set starting point
After calibration is complete, remotely control the robot to the edge of the lawn.
Tap "Set Starting Point" in the App to define the starting position of the boundary.
Step 3. Create the map outline
Remote control the robot to move along the edge of the lawn from the starting point, completing one full circle.
The map outline will be displayed in real time in the App.
Step 4. Complete the outline
When the robot approaches the starting point again, tap "Close Outline" in the App.
The system will automatically complete and save the map outline.
Warm Tips
- Ensure the robot battery level is above 50% and the phone is connected to the robot via Bluetooth.
- Ensure the robot is properly docked in the base station and in standby mode. Remove the LiDAR cover before mapping.
- Do not create boundaries on slopes greater than 27% (15°) to avoid falling risk.
- If the lawn is divided by a gap wider than 4 cm, please install a ramp.
- Avoid creating boundaries in corridors narrower than 0.8 meters.
- During mapping, stay within 5 meters behind the robot.
- When turning corners, try to maintain an angle greater than 90 degrees.
