1. Can I place the charging station on a hard road surface?
The charging base station needs to be secured with ground nails on softer, flat surfaces. If it is not secured, it might move during docking, resulting in unsuccessful connection between the MOVA 600/1000 and the charging station. Moreover, not securing the charging station with ground nails over the long term may also cause the station base to deform.
2. Can I place the base station on a slope?
Please try to place the base station in a flat area, as the robot can easily slide out from the base station on a slope, leading to unsuccessful docking.
3. I noticed that the base station doesn't seem to be assembled properly.
First, press the front clip of the charging station into the base plate, and then apply pressure backward on the charging station to press the rear clip into the base plate. You need to apply firm pressure during installation, and a "click" sound indicates that the clips have secured in place. After installation, check whether the gap between the charging station and the base plate has completely closed. You can manually press the connection points to adjust. If there are slight gaps, they do not affect the robot's ability to return for charging, and you can use it with confidence.
